Stealing away on an exotic cruise to a tropical paradise can be a vacation that you will remember for the rest of your life. It may come as a shock to you that this dream can become a reality a lot easier than you might think, because the beautiful pink sandy beaches and clear blue waters of Bermuda are only six hundred miles away from the South Carolina coast.
However, the ideal cruise for young singles out for a good time, would likely be considered horrifying to families who are traveling with young children. On the other hand, the taste of retired seniors may lean towards a more relaxed atmosphere with craft classes and shuffleboard, whereas couples who are going on their honeymoon to Bermuda would very likely consider this type of cruise to be anything but romantic.
I intend to look at a number of vital elements that need to be included if you are to experience the ultimate Bermuda cruise, as well as the various programs and special offerings that can help all kinds of vacationers to enjoy the experience to the fullest.
For example, singles will generally consider the ideal Bermuda cruise to be one that allows them to party all night long. But the fact is the majority of cruise ships only have about a half a dozen bars or lounges, although one Bermuda cruise contains an astonishing sixteen bars and lounges. Can I hear you say PARTY? Well it doesn't take a genius to recognize which cruise ship the singles crowd will have more fun on.
And it's exactly the same when it comes to swimming pools. A number of ships only have one swimming pool, but it's really clear that the singles crowd will have a much better time and a far greater selection of potential partners on one of the two Bermuda cruise ships that contain four swimming pools. There's sure to be a lot more poolside action on those babies.
But for families, what an ideal Bermuda cruise should be like is quite different. For instance, in the evening most parents will expect to be able to leave their kids with a babysitter. It's assumed that the cruise line will supply this service. Unfortunately for some unhappy travelers, this is not the case with one of the Bermuda cruise lines. A parent of young children would find it less than ideal to be on one of their ships.
However, some families contain teenagers, and teens don't find being limited to family activities to be too much fun, so a small number of Bermuda cruise companies decided to organize something they call Teen Shore Excursions. These outings offer teens a chance to leave the confines of their families and visit the Bermuda sights along with other kids their own age. Parents with teenagers are sure to enjoy traveling on one of these cruise lines.
Not surprisingly, a retired seniors' concept of the ideal Bermuda cruise is totally different than that of singles and families. They prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace.
Seniors often enjoy attending so called cultural enrichment classes that on the better ships cover a diversity of subjects such as archeology, foreign languages and computer skills. Unfortunately a number of Bermuda cruise ships have nothing in the way of classes for seniors and expect a few deck games like shuffleboard to satisfy their elderly passengers. I think seniors should make a wide berth around these ships. Excuse the pun, I couldn't help myself.
Any senior that is a golf fan will be happy to note that a number of cruises have hired a golf pro. They also have simulator software that videotapes your swing and offers advice on improvements. One of the cruise lines also has an all-hours driving range. But you need to know that some cruise companies don't offer any golf related amenities.
There are very few things in this world more romantic than cruising into the sunset in the arms of your lover on an luxurious Bermuda cruise. In fact, not surprisingly, Modern Bride magazine was so impressed with Bermuda that they selected it as one of the top vacation destinations for honeymooners and newlyweds.
If you've been looking for the ideal honeymoon you will want to book yourself on one of two ships that have spa treatments that you can have in the privacy of your cabin. You may also want to be on one of the ships that offers more than a single rose. How about a dozen? And if you really want that special treatment, how would you like a private invite from the captain of your ship to take a tour of the bridge? I think these are some of the special touches that can ensure you have the ideal Bermuda honeymoon cruise.
I have touched on a few of the key elements that go into ensuring that your vacation experience in Bermuda is as awesome as you're hoping it will be, and ideally suited to your personality and lifestyle. And now you know that armed with the right information you don't have to settle for anything less than the ultimate Bermuda cruise.
Obviously there are a great deal of differences between, not only the various cruise lines, but also the individual ships. Needless to say, I couldn't possibly cover each of them in this short article, but if you would like more information, for instance, which ships would be the best ones for you, or how to ensure that you get booked on the ideal Bermuda cruise, then please visit me at the website below.

Without doubt the best sellers on Search Travel Online are holidays to mainland Spain. This is no surprise, and there are plenty of reasonably priced escapes in the sun to be had around Spain, but I do think people are missing out by not choosing to take a cheap holiday in the Algarve with us. Portugal’s south coast is easily the equal of mainland Spain in many respects, and even nicer in others.
So here, without further ado is 6 reasons you should consider a bargain holiday in the Algarve the next time you head abroad:
Wonderful Weather
As you might expect from Southern Europe, the weather is excellent all year round, but to my mind the Algarve even manages to eclipse mainland Spain. Never too hot, with a pleasant ocean breeze, the Algarve is at it’s hottest in July and August where it averages 28 degrees centigrade, but even at its coldest in January it is still 15 degrees, with over 6 hours of sunshine per day! Whether you’re planning on heading in the peak of summer, or escaping the miserable British winter for warmer climes, cheap package holidays in the Algarve are bound to provide ample serotonin.
Brilliant Beaches
With more than 30 beaches in the Algarve region, it’s fair to say you should easily manage to find at least a handful that you love! The variety also means there are beaches for all occasions – family friendly, shallow beaches, some ideal for windsurfing and water sports, some romantic secluded beaches ideal for couples to walk hand-in-hand along – but all of them drenched in the sunshine, relaxation and good times: The spirit of Algarve package holidays!
Great Golf
What’s the perfect relaxed game to compliment the cheap Algarve holiday staple of lounging lazily on the beach in splendid weather? Golf of course! There are 19 golf courses in the Algarve meaning that, like the beaches, you’re sure to find a couple to your tastes. The most famous is undoubtedly the world renowned Royal Course known for its famous Par 3 hole that requires a shot of more than 200 metres over 3 breathtaking cliffs! The other courses are all entertaining though, and the sheer density of quality venues means you’re never far from a swift round if the mood takes you on a cheap package holiday in the Algarve!
Fantastic Food
One of the simple pleasures of a bargain holiday in the Algarve is dining in the local restaurants – and this usually comes an a very reasonable price, explaining perhaps why eating out is far more common in the region than it is in the UK. It’s quite normal to get a quality meal for £8-£10 per person, including wine. The food is mostly prepared using local ingredients, so expect quality seafood on the coast, and spiced chicken and pork dishes as you move more inland. For those who refuse to indulge in the local cuisine (you’re missing out) there are a handful of places selling English food for the tourists, so you needn’t feel homesick for long on your cheap holiday in the Algarve!
Captivating Culture
Okay, bullfighting may not be everyone’s idea of culture, but there are plenty of other reasons to leave the beach on your Algarve holiday. There are seasonal music, art and drink festivals throughout the year, and you are never far away from a fascinating local art gallery or museum to get a greater feel for the region’s history during your bargain Algarve holiday.
Noteworthy Nightlife
The nightlife of the Algarve is certainly varied, and for once it’s fair to say there really is something for everyone, with a clear divide between the club scene and local cultural, relaxed evenings under the Portuguese stars. Starting with the club scene, the best bet is Albufeira, where you can party into the early hours at a wide selection of nightclubs and bars, particularly popular with English and German tourists. It may not be as well known as Ibiza or Majorca, but the Algarve is something of a nightlife gem.
The alternative to this is enjoying a night of Algarve culture. If your idea of a pleasant evening is a quiet dinner of seafood, followed by some live fado folk music or dancing in a bar, ending with a pleasant promenade under the stars, then maybe the Algarve alternative nightlife is ideal for you afterall!
This is all just scraping the surface of what makes cheap Algarve holidays such a fantastic choice for British tourists, but the best way to discover the magic of the region is to go there. If you’ve been on the fence about booking a cheap package holiday to the Algarve, delay no longer – you won’t regret it!
