Looking for an exclusive resort which is beachfront at Ocho Rios Jamaica, then why not check out the Royal Plantation Adult only Resort
One of the most exclusive resorts in Jamaica, indeed at top Caribbean luxury resort has to be the adult only resort the Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios Jamaica.
Beachfront with two powder white sand beaches, offers ocean view dining, a magnificent spa, and a great championship golf course.
It is available as a room only deal or all inclusive in which case everything including golf is covered, and this is very good value especially if your idea of paradise is to play golf every day.
The Royal Plantation is a member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World and has only 74 beautifully laid out and equipped suites, all with stunning views of the Caribbean.
It’s all very well to describe the facilities available in this exclusive resort, but as you will understand, it is what actually happens, how you were made to feel, what the reality will be like that makes any luxury resort into a great resort, and the Royal Plantation is no exception.
You can expect a complimentary car for the ninety minute journey from the airport, and a complimentary beer if it isn’t just waiting for you on arrival. You will be able to watch the less privileged fight for places on their buses, and realize immediately you are going to be cosseted. The air conditioned car will smoothly take you to the Royal Plantation, and from the moment you walk in the door you will just know this is one very exclusive resort, and you can begin the process of being cosseted and generally unwinding from the stresses of the world outside.
Apart from the champagne and ice cool towels, the first thing you will notice is it is beautifully cool in the hotel, and this will also be the case in your suite, which you will be escorted to after a familiarization tour of the grounds, which will immediately impress you. There is a lot of sense in opting for what they call the Royal Plan, which is the all inclusive, because if you look at the costs of the individual meals and drinks, you will spend around USD 375 a day on three meals, and that doesn’t count drinks at around USD10, and then there is tax to pay as well.
A one bedroom honeymoon suite will be more than adequate for any couple, it even has two bathrooms, one with rain shower and Jacuzzi, and a superb uninterrupted view of the sea from the roomy balcony.
Everything about the Royal Plantation screams exclusive and luxury, from the high class balcony breakfasts, to the drinks bar stocked with what you have selected, to the toiletries.
Add to this the breakfasts at the Grille, the two beaches always immaculate, with staff to set up chairs and umbrellas, so no early rising to reserve a seat.
Seat availability in every restaurant, with menus in all three restaurants both mouthwatering, but also and importantly always having something you really fancy.
Finally bear in mind that the Royal Plantation is not a part all night hotel, this is a relaxing, soothing, unwinding exclusive luxury resort, possibly almost the best in the Caribbean. Quality like this costs but you’ll have a glorious pampered time at Ocho Rios Jamaica.

Hong Kong is a magnificent region of China and a significant draw for many travelers looking to explore various cultures and international customs. Made up of over 200 islands, this great city has a population that exceeds seven million people - one city!
Located in Eastern Asia, Hong Kong is situated near the South China Sea. It was in 1997 that the city was returned to China after being leased to Great Britain - this was quite an event and cause for celebration for the Chinese people. Previously fearful of losing their country completely to Great Britain, citizens threw parties for weeks afterward. Now, although neither its own country nor technically a city, it is referred to as a "region" of China.
The official languages of Hong Kong are Chinese and English, as many residents speak both fluently. Most foreigners actually do not have any difficulty with communication there because the Chinese population tends to speak a number of languages due to business and other pragmatic reasons. The type of money used is the Hong Kong dollar - you should always check the exchange rate at the time of travel.
This location in China is known to be a very modern region with wonderful food, energetic and hard working people, plenty of shopping areas that rival some of the most popular in the world, and local customs that will draw anyone into their vibrant area.
In fact there is so much to do and see, it can be difficult to know where to get started. If you travel to there and plan to do some shopping, look around and compare prices first. Depending on where you are at the time, you could be charged a whole lot more than even going to a similar market on a street one block away.
There is a great public transportation system throughout the land, which uses the Octopus payment card. This card is essential to getting around town as almost everyone pays transportation fees from it, except for taxi cabs. It can even be used at restaurants, convenience stores, and for almost any other imaginable purchases.
When you travel to this part of the world, there is much to be seen, so start slowly and take your time so you don't miss essentials while trying to catch everything. Definitely include Hong Kong Island on your itinerary, which is the most urbanized district. Kowloon is also a great spot to take a day trip. It offers the best view of the skyline and is one of the most populated cities in the world.
The Chinese government and its citizens are very conservative, so be on your best behavior at all times to enjoy the beautiful country on their terms. It wasn't long ago that very few visitors were even allowed into China from the outside and you had to jump through hoops to get a Visa to travel there.
Make sure to take a train through the land as well, allowing you the opportunity to restfully enjoy everything that this region has to offer. From fabulous food to amazing culture, you can hardly go wrong visiting Hong Kong.
